i suggest creating both and play them to level 10….by then you will know which you will like the most and then just make that toon your main.

Only you can decide which profession you like the best and is “more fun to play”

Have you try to do some pvp whit both the classes?
Whit the pvp system, you can try different weapon and build, and chose your favorite.
But if you don’t find an answer by that way…. flip a coin XD

Ranger offers you a really relaxed pve with decent damage, good range for wvw, you will however be a prime target in spvp.
warriors have some weaknesses in early pve game and you may need to play a bit more passive than you`d like at the beginning. They really rock in pvp with the right build, where they are overpowered right now.
