What waypoints do you use when you need to hit a trader really fast?
Looking for some where I don’t have to run to reach a trader.
A bank nearby would be a plus.
The closer the better!

Bonus point: What about waypoint closest to a chef station?

If you just want to get to everything quickly and don’t care about the cost I’d recommend the Grove. You’ve got the bank, trader and all the crafting stations close together on the same level with a waypoint pretty much in the middle.

But in practice I’d use whichever is closest to you at the time to reduce the cost. Or use the WvW or PvP tab to go to the Mists and then through the gate to LA. Or just wait until you’re near one of those things anyway.

I don’t care about cost- i’m curious for when i’m in a hurry

I tend to use the LA WP near the mystic forge and head toward the bank, vendor stood at the bottom of stairs up to the bank.

If no traders are close or on the map, it’s always PvP tab through the mists and the LA gate.
I don’t worry about the bank since I have permanent bank access from anywhere.

Divinity’s Reach
Minister’s waypoint is right by the Bank and TP.
one level down Commons waypoint is right by the jeweling and cooking station.
DR is my favorite city to craft in.

Rata Sum, Accountancy WP. In this single room you’ve got bank, TP, armor repair, and a general merchant. In the hallways that lead out of this room, you’ve got all the crafting stations. I’ve not found a better place in the game. It’s literally no more than a 5 second walk to anything you need.

If you don’t play on a server with high WvW population(so there is no queue for your home borderland) then best option would be to hit B and travel to your home borderland. Just where you spawn there is the Trade Post NPC in the left, crafting stations in the right. The crafting stations can be used to access the bank, the master crafters NPCs can be used to sell the loot and buy more salvage kits and to go back to PvE all you need to do is to go to character selection screen and login back to your character. You will spawn on your previous map just where you left. Waypoint cost: 0 copper.

Bonus: if your server owns the central keep on your borderland(unless your server is getting dominated this should be always true) then you can also gain quick access to mystic forge and guild bank.

I used that on my mesmer till I leveled out of the area. It’s only downside is Vanguard Benis or whatever his name is nagging you every 5 seconds at the Trader or bank, like some crazed homeless person “please help me. I need your help!” Then when you click on him he says he’s going to go take a nap.
