Guild Wars 2

I right click a user, select guild invite and receive the message, “You have reached the maximum number of guild memberships. If you would like to join a new guild, you must leave one of your current guilds or decline one of your current invites.” The error code is: 3040:1002:3:2016:101. This is the same for all members of my guild, no one can invite through any means. Any help?

Haha, no. I believe I figured it out. I think all the people we were inviting had too many guilds or guild invited.

Same problem here… Anet Fix it ASAP…

This means the user you are trying to invite is already in 4 guilds. The message is real confusing as it seems like its you thats met the limit, but it’s actually them.

So, just to clarify here, is the maximum number of guilds an account can be in 4 or 5? I was under the impression it was four until I got invited to a fifth and joined.
