I just recieved an ingame mail from a random player with this in it :

Can you watch my dog over the weekend my wife recently went into laybor and she in Texas which is a 2 day drive from where i am i would appriate it very much

and he included 50 copper.

I don’t trust this ! can’t delete cause there’s 50c in it. i’m afraid to accept it or return it ( call it beeing carefull playing such games for more then 10 years ^^ )

So any suggestions ?

Maybe send the player a /whisper next time you’re on and ask if he meant to send it to someone else?

Yeah. Most likely you got someone else’s mail. When you make up a mail, it auto selects some random person by you first if you are in a crowd. Or the guy thought it was funny to send it to you.

Either way, you can probably keep the 50 copper. ^^

Email the guy the 50 bowls of Krytan meatball dinner he bought with the copper. The dog can live off that.

Just mail it back, the copper will still be in the mail and he will see he send it to wrong person

Nothing weird about the mail. Just a complete mistake.
Better to reply the guy telling him that he made a mistake, or he might think the “friend” is taking care of the dog without knowing… The dog might starve…
