Long story short, I pick this game today (Heroic Edition) I made a necromancer and used the box. I didn’t know It was one time use type of deal, so I guess I’m stuck with my necromancer now.

Yes I know It’s only armor set which gets replace later, but I like the armor skin set ETC and that 18 slot bag.

I know this Is no reason to not level other characters up, If I had known this was one time use, I would had made warrior first or buy normal edition none heroic.

I don’t suppose there’s away to revert this? I kinda like necromancer but as a returning player and soloing It’s kinda boring and I find they better In parties.

Forgot to mention I bought the retail version.

All you lost is the free one time per piece transmutation. You have the skin, it’ll just cost transmutation charges to apply elsewhere. What you are stuck with is a light armor skin.

Remember, this is just a skin, no stats. And really there’s just the heroic edition and deluxe now. If you haven’t used the skin yet, stick it in your bank for a rainy day when you want to roll a necro, mesmer or elementalist.

It’s not just a skin, it’s a set of armor with stats that can be used by any character that can wear that armor class, BTW it’s great for key runs , or at least mine is.

Ah … no. You get a choice of Primeval, Kryton or Profane skins. I certainly didn’t get any armor.

I did, 1 full set with Vitality stats, I still have it on my 2nd account I accidentally deleted it on my primary account and CS was no help but yea full set of armor and 1 set of skins.

I’ve gotten the heroic edition. You get a set of armor with stats (no level, so it can be used on a level one char) and a set of skins that you can use to apply one time.

There kind of already is, just not as a single package.

The Heroic Edition contains 3 items that weren’t in the original standard or Digital Deluxe editions:

• The Primeval, Krytan or Profane armor, which has been on sale in the gem store since launch.
• 10 XP boosters, on sale in the gem store since launch.
• An 18 slot mithril box, made by armorsmith crafters or sold on the TP.

So if you buy 1600 gems (enough to get the armor and the boosters) and buy the mithril box with gold you’ve just bought yourself a Heroic Edition upgrade.

Or even better, buy 1600 gems and then use them on whatever armor skin/s and other items you want instead of letting Anet choose for you.

I’m a bit confused. You rolled a necro, got the light armor set, but wanted a warrior with the heavy armor set instead?

If anything you could try to submit a support ticket and ask if you can change it. They did for my wife, but she selected the wrong armor type. (heavy instead of light for her mesmer.) She didn’t use it but they did replace it with the appropriate armor set.

If you used it, and changed your mind, I don’t know if there is much they can do about it. But it doesn’t hurt to try.
