Guild Wars 2

As the title asks, im interested in seeing what 5 professions most interest the GW community.
Im having troubles figuring out which 5 I plan to make any sort of commitment to, and its nice to figure that out early so that you can find relevant and witty names for them before its too late.
Sure you can spend 30$ for 3 character slots but I dont want to.
Im thinking:
warrior
thief
mesmer
engineer
guardian But its all up in the air right now
Im not sure of this topic is already covered, and if it is a link would be awesome

currently playing a thief, but i would like to also try..

ranger
necromancer
warrior
elementalist

I have
Norn Ranger
Asura Guardian

The other 3
Char Engineer
Human Thief
(forgot what they are really called) “Salad people” Elementalist

Another aspect to consider is the synergy of pve and pvp
Like are they both adequate and fun to play pve and still capable of being strong support

I currently have:
a 80 Norn Warrior
a 17 Sylvari Mesmer
a Human Engineer that I have yet to level

I think the two remaining slots would be:
an Asuran Elementalist
a Charr Thief

I have Norn warrior and Human necro both in the mid40s level-wise, and a Sylvari ranger somewhere in the teens. All of those are keepers.

I’ve also created a Charr Ash Legion Thief but she’s only about level 2 right now. Last slot will be Asura but I’m undecided on profession – possibly Ele but I may well change my mind again.

I bought 3 slots the first day, so I have one character for each profession. This makes things way easier.

Besides gems are very cheap these days with game money.

I am playing an elementalist and I love it. Trying to hit 80 first, but re-rolling is tempting :P

I would say the last four would be:

Ranger
Guardian
Thief
Necro

In no specific order

I finally found 1 character to stick with until 80, which is Ranger.
That being said I pretty much plan on playing every class to 80 eventually hehe. I also plan on lvling all the crafting disciplines to cap.
