What GPU do you guys have?
The problem with GW2 is most of the work is done by your CPU. You will always have fps drops in WvW 3 way blobs and world boss fights. There is nothing you or anyone else can do about it, short of ANet somehow doing more optimization.
As for GPU that can handle the game with everything on full and still keep good fps, my MSI GTX 960 gaming 2GB works like a charm. My specs are in my sig.

Its a bit weird – Im running gw2 and my CPU ussage is not even close to 50%…
And yet Im having some visual downfalls in FPS
So basicly my CPU is doing gr8 – my GPU is slacking..

It’s something to do with the client being 32 bit, and only using one strand or something like that. I’m a bit fuzzy on the facts. But basically the game will not use all the cores you CPU has. So while its doing the bulk of the work your GPU sits there just chilling. So that might be why your only seeing 50% load as it using one core. It will use another core, but from my understanding of reading different threads on the subject is the game client is poorly optimized and many have called for a 64 bit client to “fix” his problem, as well as calls for the game to have a DX update. As I said, don’t take any of this as fact, as I said I’m a bit fuzzy on the facts as my knowledge is mostly in hardware and not software.

It’s funny though. Even on mid settings, my GPU frequently tops out at 100% load, especially in certain dungeons/fractals. (granted my GPU is 3 years old, but still).

So just to sum up – After reading your comment I’ve decided to test out my CPU utilization on my win 10 (task manager).
What I’ve came across is amazing… Everytime my FPS drops (like a mini second drop from 30 to 10 – then getting back up) my CPU utilization drops… And it drops from 40-50 % to 20-30% and then it gets back up…
Is there a way of fixing it??
I mean I have a really strong CPU and it should handle this game without any problems!
The game relies heavily on singlethreaded performance, which your CPU sorely lacks. You’ll definitely see a framerate (and/or settings) increase with a new GPU, but you’ll also still have performance issues, especially in busy/zergy areas.

How dose the game play under auto detect? Also how much ram do you have, and what CPU?

GTX 980. But, like others have hinted at, most FPS problems come from the game being CPU bound. I think a beefier graphics card only allows you to select more eye candy.

AMD FX4100 stock. 8GB DDR3. The game plays fine under auto detect, minor lag while zerg surfing.

You need to look for every core usage, not overall cpu. Gw2 uses all cores, but what it’s important is single core performance, which FX line lack tremendously.
Then don’t bother about gpu utilization, it doesn’t show if the gpu is bottlenecking. The game will use all the gpu if possible or needed.
Add about gpus, R9 270, R9 370, GTX 950, GTX 660ti… are what you need to max the game at 1080p and a good framerate in non-cpu intensive areas.
i7 5775c @ 4.1GHz – 12GB RAM @ 2400MHz – RX 480 @ 1390/2140MHz
I get bout the most frames for 1080p I get around 40-80fps with a 280xradeon

So you run fine with everything on max in a WvW 3 way zerg blob, and World bosses? That’s odd, as I’ve read posts on here from people will better GPU’s (a GTX 980Ti) and a similar CPU and ram, if not a better i7, still having slow down fps wise in WvW blobs and World bosses.
Fps drop and lag can look the same but are very different.

Actually I dont do WvW but I do everything else without FPS slowing down. My Average FPS in zergs (PvE) is like 60-66 fps
I think your definition of a zerg doesn’t match our definition of a zerg. I drop down to a solid 30 in PvE zergs and lower in 3way WvW zergs

Keep eye on your gpu usage. If its at 100% for most of the time with uncapped fps, its a bottleneck.
I have used gtx550ti too with an i7-2600k cpu. 550ti was definately a bottleneck for me during those times. Now with a gtx970, gpu usage stays at around 50% while the game uses the most of the cpu it can (around 35-40%).
In case you are going to buy a new gpu, keep in mind that its not a guaranteed huge fps increase. Your cpu might be a bottleneck just a bit after your gpu.
Dont expect 60fps in every situation. Wvw fights will continue to impact fps even on expensive systems.
Before buying anything i recommend messing around with graphics settings. Autodetect is usually not the best option for performance.

I keep V-sync turned on pretty much all the time, but I never get above 60FPS even with my FPS uncapped. In most areas of the game, My GPU usages hovers between 50 and 80%. It’s only a few distinct areas of the game where it caps at 100%. The mossman’s room in the swampland fractal is one of those areas. In my experience, Nvidia cards don’t like really heavy shader effects, water and shadows especially. (which is why I always have shadows and reflections turned off).

i have this fp’s because i tweak everything in my computer like (services, msconfig, regedit, unpark cores, visual effects and more)

open world 15-20 fps
WwW freezing a lot like 3 or 5 fps
Free Ram available 3.2 gb’s(with tweaks)
Free Ram available without tweaks 1.9-2.1gb’s
i wish new pc like new msi gaming notebook but i need wait :/

Sounds like your cpu and gpu are pretty balanced at this moment so if you are going to buy a new gpu, be ready to get a new cpu as well.
