What Profession do you like to see around the most?
I like the person who revives me when I die
with the current gameplay i doesn’t mather what you want to play, I love to see a balanced group (5 differend class) in dungeons, but I’m also fine with 5 of the same.
So its your choose
Commander Berelain sur Hoiya
Far Shiverpeaks
Yeah, I know it’s my choice and all I just can’t make up my mind xD
For what its worth, I like seeing the following:
Anybody who runs up during a dynamic event / boss and helps out with healing/damage/distraction/anything.
Guardians, because they are great at, well, not being dead.
Mesmers, because more clones = less chance of enemy attention on real players. Also, I’m a mesmer and I like seeing more of variations of what I do.
Elementalists, rangers – AoE is always useful. Also bears and elementals for more distraction.
Necromancers – more minions to distract the enemy, also helpful with condition/buff reversals.
What I don’t much care about: .. Thieves, for one. Also, warriors running on greatswords/sigils. It’s not that they aren’t effective – they are. It’s that there’s just so many of them, I’m practically sick of seeing the same hundred-blades masher style.
What I actively dislike: The class that runs in, drags 5 to 7 other enemies onto you, dies, teleports away.
In other words.. It really is much more down to the player than the profession itself. Except greatsword warriors because seriously, so many.

Ah yeah I see. Thank you for the feedback.
I do realize this post was a little silly since it really is just my choice.
But yeah I’m never going to play GS warrior. There are indeed sooo many.
For what it’s worth if anyone cares, I think I’m gonna go with guardian.
I like to see guardians show up around me. Since the ranged options for them are fairly bad theres a high chance they will be melee, which means that there is less of a chance that enemies will target me.
On the other hand I don’t like playing guardians myself.
Well, normally I would think elementalist unless you are one like I am.
If then, guardian.
The reason for this is combo field fire.
Combo field fire works like this.
An elementalist (or some other profession) will put down a combo field type fire
Someone else will use a blast finisher (or the ele can too) suddenly everyone in your party now has 3 stacks of might. This can be done as many times as you like per fire field.
With my ele right now I can press f2→ 4 → f4 → 4 → 5 (and somewhere in there f6)
my team now has 9 stacks of might, fury and protection from me alone. Assuming we have someone else in the party who recognizes a fire field combo, we can easily have 20+ might stacks in a few short seconds.
As for guardian, they’re just really good. Plenty of party wide boons, very tanky, and good support abilities.
