Guild Wars 2

I know gw2 doesnt offer much in the way of being able to bind anything else than what’s in the controls menu, I do find some binds helpful for convenience.

For example: My mouse has 2 extra ‘shoulder buttons’ that i’ve set to ‘about face’ and ‘heal skill’. The heal mouse bind has been quite useful because I can heal quickly and easily without having to worry about mashing the wrong # key, but I havent found the ‘about face’ bind to be very useful and am looking for a replacement.

What are your favorite custom key settings?

Mine is a bit odd, but it works well for me.
Mouse 3 (clicking the wheel) is weapon1.
1 is weapon swap.
2-5 are weapon skills 2-5
Q is heal
E,R,F are my utilities
WASD for movement
V is action key
Shift is dodge
B is Ultimate
Alt is swim down (in water)
And f keys are still class specific keys

This setup works well for me, as I can move around pretty easy, reach all of my skills without taking my hand off the mouse, and target/attack things without activating them, like clicking does. The only oddball is swim down, as its not a good placement, but I really don’t have anywhere else to stick it.
I’d recommend having dodge on your mouse though, if you have the buttons for it.
