Oh don’t throw that idea away so soon! It’s really useful for turning all that Karma into money through the junk trophies you can sell.

You could make t6 mats with them, but considering it takes an ecto + a mystic coin, it is probably not profitable. And you’d be the only person going “five clovers in a row, I have such horrible luck!”

Orrian Boxes are also great for transfering karma to other characters.

Good point, the karma consumables from the boxes are account bound so you can give em to alts.

I think what happened there was that the original implementation of Legendaries had them as account bound/soulbound, preserving the “legendary” journey of obtaining them. Then Nexon said: “Oh hey, make them sellable so we can make the moneys on gems”, and Anet abandoned the binding on Legendaries but didn’t bother to go change the binding on all the ingredients.

How would one do that? I have several from the jewelry boxes, and I’d love to know how to do something with them other than A) destroying them or letting them sit in my inventory/bank.

We should be able to make Obsidian armour with the Shards.
But I am guessing if that happens it’ll cost 250 shards + 250 tears of jesus + 1 soulless orphans(crafted from 999 ectos + gift of god(crafted from 666 giganticus lupus fangs) to craft 1 piece.

well, the fangs will be easy at least. But how in the world am I going to get 999 ecto in this economy!?

Vince, if you look up mystic clovers on GW2Wiki, it gives you the process. The mats are actually the result of failing the clover recipe and you can build up a good stack of T6mats or even lodestones if you are willing to invest in 10x recipes (makes more sense when you read the wiki entry).

I tried converting bloodstones to T6 mats after I finished my legendary…except ended up with a stack of clovers instead.. Such is luck
