Recently I completed my first collection, Tricks and Treats, and got a mini pet. I’ve been looking at some of the default collections that I have pending but I think that the effort required to complete them is way higher than the value of the reward that I get back. So my question is if there are any hidden collections worth completing.

I think the most worth it, effort/reward wise are the dungeons collections and jar collections. That is, if you, like me, enjoy to run dungeons. Otherwise I guess the Ambrite weapons collection is not too bad, you can get the fosilized insects as sure end reward track from PvP, so if you have all weapons craftings to 400 it’s not much hassle. Unless you hate to farm Dry Top, that would still be needed to aquire enough geodes for the recipes.
But this is my vision.

That’s kind of an odd (or maybe even worthless) reward imo. People who have the mats or the gold to buy the mats to make this sort of item are very likely to have already have earrings from either laurels or playing fractals and so don’t need another earring.

Uncanny Canner is nice one to do. Cheapest 20 slot bag you can get in the game.

Dungeoneer isn’t a title everyone has, so I like showing it. I don’t specifically work towards others, but I may do them some day.

None of the collections are financially “worth it” in my opinion — you can obtain equivalent rewards without investing that much time, effort, or gold. I’d only go after the ones that appeal to your inner Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or that are otherwise fun or interesting to you for other reasons.

Khisanth is correct that Uncanny Canner is probably the cheapest 20-slot bag in the game. But it requires a lot of scavenging to obtain all the jars and I’d rather spend that time doing fractals (or converting my excess candy corn into 20-slot candy pails).

Other collections offer less attractive options and some are incredibly expensive, e.g. most Black Lion’s Collections cost the equivalent of at least 16 Black Lion Tickets and reward you with seven BL Tickets as a reward. (In practice, the costs are usually much higher.)

When the collections came out, I noticed I had several of the black lion collections partly done. most noticeable, lovestruck. I had never unlocked any of those, yet I was at 12/16 (I assume from PvP unlocks?). So I spent ~400g to unlock the remaining 4 and got 7 claim tickets worth ~70g each.
The Halloween collections is not horrible. 5 items, each costs ~150g, you get 5 tickets. If you use those tickets and save the skins for after the price increases, you could break even.
All the other BL collections are not even close to being cost efficient.

Most of them are really expensive compare to the rewards you get. I personally like the karmic converter myself. But it cost like 700 gold to get(probably cheaper now)

Treasure hunter… I think cost like 1000 gold to get it. And give you a daily chest with stuff that is worth 10 silver every day.

Exotic hunter- Gives you karmic converter. You can use 5000 karma to buy daily items everyday. I kind of like this one. Usually it is 3 obsidian shard for 5000 karma everyday. Some times you get 5 or 7 but that’s rare. You also have chance to get various other rewards. Check google. Cost about 700 gold to get it.

Ascended armor- If you get all 18 piece of armor(6 for each class), you get to choose from a list of exotic weapons. Usually people pick arthropoda or crustacea which is worth 150 gold.

Thanks guys, I think I will go for the Dungeoneer title. I was aiming to get all the dungeon skins even before the wardrobe update, so it looks like a good objective.

For the others, I don’t really see the point ^^ I don’t have the money to get any of them anyway…
