What do I do with Empyreal Fragments
They’re for making Vision Crystals and Lesser Vision Crystals for ascended equipment crafting (after turning them into Empyreal Stars).
Honestly, I’m jealous of you. They’ve been one of the more annoying things for me to get for my current ascended equipment project.
Turn ‘em into stars and save ’em up… you never know when you’ll want to make some ascended equipment… especially the next time new stat sets get added.

I get them way more often than I get bloodstone dust, which is extremely annoying considering much more stuff requires bloodstone dust than requires empyreal stars
It depends on how you spend your time in the game – what I do rewards bloodstone dust most.
I convert daily 200 of each to bags of crap and throw away rest (have 10 stacks of each on mule and 80+ of each bricks in material storage).

Same for me, which is why until recently I had the opposite problem of the OP. In the last couple weeks I’ve started doing the things that give more empyreal fragments (most notably SW chest farm)…. in a couple weeks I’ve gone from barely scraping by to having 30 stars banked.

When you are capping out your crafting disciplines these mats come in handy. You can refine the ore from level 450 to 475 for crafting XP. It does cost obsidian to do this, but it is really expensive to level up crafting from 450 to 500, so refining these items into ingots and stars is a really smart thing to do. If you aren’t into crafting I suppose they’d be worse than useless to you.
