Where to start?

- sub bosses with extremely rare drops
- key farming for bl-chests/skins
- home instance completion

- mystic toilet for gamble or recipes
- join a guild, people you enjoy to hang out with or just for technical benefits (e.g. raids, fractals, wvwvw, pvp, being special)

- pick a class you enjoy to play and design own builds
- participate in player-made challenges or create some yourselves
- explore the world beyond map completion
- try to understand how the game and its mechanics work
- find and report bugs
- make some new friends
- jump/run arround in large circles for an hour or two, while you have a nice discussion with a person you like
- participate in activities
- participate in festivals and enjoy them once the grinding is done for you
- help newbies
- take a padawan, teach him all you know, get betrayed by him and promise yourselves not to do so again
- take another padawan, because this one is different from the last
- become an expert in jumping puzzles, make a mesmer and offer people help with their achievements
- become an expert in dungeons/fractals/raids and also offer help to people or ask for money
- farm gold
- tarir-master-grinder achievement … “golden child”
- exchange gold for gems and buy whatever you desire
- treasure hunter achievement
… etc.
happy new year and gl finding a motivation
Find all the cats of gw2 and bring them home. Only pve worth playing.
Farm for cosmetics. What else?
just explore and use my own imagination to make my character interesting, if only the map parts were really connected to make a true open world…
All of the above, plus RP. The story provides a background that affects the lives of Tyrians, so weaving that into the RP enriches both the RP and the fairly bare-bones in-game story.
There’s so much to do.
World bosses
Dungeons
Fractals
Raids
Jumping Puzzles
Map Completion
Collections
Finish the Storyline (some parts are a bit slow, but it gives some nice rewards and is overall pretty fun)
Work on your masteries (at least to get advanced gliding. Useless in WvW and PvP but so much fun)
Achievement Hunting – this is a big one for me, I like doing them
Whatever else you want to do
Where to start?
- take a padawan, teach him all you know, get betrayed by him and promise yourselves not to do so again
- take another padawan, because this one is different from the last
this line, was really awesome
I’ve been playing for four years and haven’t finished the story other than LWS2. Makes me wonder now where my 5600 hours went.
RIP City of Heroes
Help friends / guildies with hero challenges, dungeons, story missions, etc…
Also if you enjoyed the story but have only done it once try making a new character and choosing different options. Although the overall story will be the same you can get almost completely different instances based on the choices you make. (Particularly your race, which Order you pick, which race you choose to help, your greatest fear and which plan you choose to invade Orr.)
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
this is what I normally do nowadays since there isn’t much to do after you get ascended
dungeons for daily
dungeons that i’ve already done the daily for
solo dungeons
fractal dailies
extra fractals i don’t need because why not
raids
raids i don’t need because im leading or helping some guys out
making my characters look pretty
