What does kitten mean
People say “kitten” instead of a swear.
More specifically, the forums will replace swear words with “kitten”.
The website filters all swear words and change them to kitten. Also, lately, people have plainly just started using the kitten term instead of a proper swear word, for lulz.

For lulz or for being annoying? I am uncertain.
Ah okay. I suspected this. That’s kittening hilarious.
Well, people like to or tend to swear. And some, if they want to ad up a swear word in a sentence, instead of writing f words and s words, they will say kitten instead. Now, maybe it’s my imagination, and people actually say the swear word all the time, and the filter replaces them, but I think in some instances people were actually saying kitten or some variation of the word from the start. And I used the term lulz because that was the first thing it popped into my head when I was writing before.
their filters are a little… strange. I’m getting words filtered that make no sense whatsoever.
It isn’t just swearing that gets filtered, but anything that might be considered insulting or flamey. For instance, kitten, kitten and kitten are also being filtered out. That’s understandable, but then it also filters out kitten, which is a real grey area to me. Some kittens might be bothered with it, but hey, it’s in the dictionary, so why the kitten not?
i c wut u did thar
Yeah. Making sense of it before I knew this was kind of the fun part…. I saw it used as a noun, a verb, etc…. thanks to some of the subject matter of the conversations I saw them used in, I will never look at kittens the same again.
I wonder what would happen if I write here the name of a former US vice-president…
You guys got to be kitten me.
Hehe, personally I’m not using it myself to bleep out things I’m saying and doubtfully the forum had to bleep anything in my posts. I like it.
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
