I was curious as I am about to start spending gems on extra character slots, but what is the max number you can have?

I have the 5 starting but I wanted to know if I can only have 10 total and I couldn’t find the answer anywhere.

Highest current known value for Character Slots is at least 15, so you have ample space to make characters.
I think I heard 40 somewhere, but I think that was with the number of bank tabs a person can purchase, not character slots.
