What is this KITTEN garbage?

I have never seen it until I started playing this game. Is it some auto-insert mechanism that the forums use when someone uses profanity or is it some kind of teeny bopper forum slang?

Every time I see it I want to stab someone… is that normal?

j/k, this is the forum’s filter. Why would you need to curse anyways? Sure you could but in this forum it will turn into kitten.

Hah i’m glad i’m not the only one who noticed that

I find it funny though. Much better than a generic “you can’t post that, edit your post!”

Purina comes from when I was a kid and was poor and my mother was off galavanting across the town for days on end my sister would feed my purina puppy chow dried dog food.

It was that or starve so I ate it willingly and actually grew to prefer it over the welfare cereal. A couple MMO’s ago i told that story and someone started calling me Purina and it just kind of stuck with me every since…

I was starting to think the GW2 community was full of cat lovers with all the kitten stuff and was gonna have to leave or something. I agree it should be changed to bunnies or puppies or something other than kitten.

So does that mean I can type whatever the kitten I want and it will just get auto-edited and no harm done? Or might ANet still get Kitteny about it and possibly block/ban/whatever me?
