Hello!
So, I gotta choose between Japanese or Russian at school (well, those are the options I care about), and I can not decide.
I speak Kurdish, Turkish and German natively. My English is also on a very high level. I also learned Latin. Another thing I’d like to mention is that I am very talented in learning languages due to having such a strong background on them.
When I’m older I’d like to work in an executive position in a technology/gaming based company. So I came here to ask, maybe I can get some good answers here and if I am lucky I’ll even get a dev response!

I’m no expert but I think Japanese would be a better option.
I’ve heard Russian is relatively easy for speakers of other European languages to pick up, so you could teach yourself that later (or take night classes or a short course) if you need it. Whereas Japanese is quite different from any of the languages you already know so I think you’d get more from having a teacher there.
Also in terms of the gaming industry it’d probably come in more useful because Japan is a big market in the industry.

I agree with Danikat. Most gaming company’s are speaking English inside the company, with Japanese as a good second (Nintendo, Sony). As for Sony, wich is more making a platform, as an executive you might need to negotiate with them, speaking at least a basic level is a bonuspoint.
