Its a term I hear a lot in the game chat. Where is it or what is it?

There are two of them, Queensdale and Frostgorge. They consist of circling through the zone to catch champions as they spawn, mass-attacking them down, and heading to the next one in order. They aren’t always moving smoothly, but if you want to farm champions that’s the way to do it. Get in the zone, make sure you have all necessary waypoints, and then ask nicely in Map where you should go to join the train.

There’s no need to do the train, btw. In fact it can keep you from learning how to use your profession’s abilities because the loot pinatas just die. And it can get so boring … and keep you from seeing all the interesting stuff around you. But it’s great to finish out group events for dailies, for generating gold in a hurry, or to level up an alt.

You kinda over answered my question. With that being all said, a train is a group of people farming bosses in the area?

Yeah, pretty much. In a particular set order, like train stops.

Thanks. Another question. I bought cash item armor and I noticed you have to over ride the armor you already have on. BUT once I do that The armor I bought is kinda weak and useless, I want better armor but I want my cash armor to be I guess upgraded if possible.

Then you will need transmutation stones. They are there to keep the look of in this case your bought armor and combine them with the stats or another armor piece that has better stats.

Those transmutations stones drop after you completed an area, or from completing your dailies and you can buy them with gems.

They work up until level 79 armor, level 80 armor can only be transmuted with transmutation crystals, also from the trading post or as a really rare drop

To upgrade the stats of an item with a more powerful and level appropriate item, while also retaining the appearance of your old item, you would need to use transmutation.

• Acquire your desired armor with the upgraded stats
• If you are between level 1-79 you use a Transmutation Stone (level 80 requires a Transmutation Crystal) and select the components of each item you desire to be merged into a single item.

Level 1-79 Stones are most easily acquired from fully exploring a zone (including a main city), which awards you with 3 of them, though they can also be purchased from the gem store. Level 80 Crystals are primarily acquired from the Gem Store, though they can be acquired unreliably elsewhere through playing the game.

• Double-click the Transmutation Stone
• Drag and drop your old armor/weapon into one panel of the transmutation window
• Drag and drop the new armor/weapon with the new better stats into the other side of the panel
• Click the appearance of the item you wish to keep and it will slide into the middle
• Click the stats of the new item and it will slide into the middle
• If you have an upgrade you can select the upgrade to include in the end product as well
• Click Transmute to merge the stats of one item with the appearance of the other

Be sure to double check that you selected the right items before hitting Transmute.

It’s pretty easy actually. I tried to do full details to limit any misunderstandings in how to use one.

• Activate Stone
• Drop both items into the window
• Click the appearance you want
• Click the stats you want
• Click the upgrade if you have one
• Transmute

If you want to keep the look, yes. (Based on how I read the “seems like a lot of work” post. Multiple transmutation while upgrading all stats and levels.)

But you could always store the bought armor you have now and decide to transmute them later. But that would mean going with a different look and more based on stats.

Just keep in mind that if you do get to level 80 armor and the bought armor is still of a lower level, your will still need the Crystal to transmute them, one for each piece of armor.

Avoid the (Train). It’s the best way to burn yourself out of the game and the worst way to get started in the GW2 experience.

Yeah. The train did ruin my shock and awe. It was cool at first, but then All the things that made me like this mmo started feeling mundane, then I realized, I need not do this. Almost killed my vibe.

Yes, if deleted it will be gone and you will have to buy it again.

That is one of the reasons why it is important to get info before doing anything.
