Can some one who is kind enough post the professions and how they work..

Like Necromancer Deals damage but is Fragile E.g

Trying to find a good profession to start with as first character

That’s the official site. As for un-official info, rangers and guardians are currently more durable and a bit easier to start with. Elementalists and thiefs can more complex. Anyway, I recommend to try a few before picking one, they are all different and one may fit better to your play-style than others
