Uhm,so guys…I ask for assistance.

I have one char of every proffession,but I dont want to use all of them for everything.

Since im mostly a PvEer,I want to have something like this

1 alt for WvW (this will be mesmer,it’s decided)
1 alt for PvP (thinking thief)
1 for Guild Missions and Open World Content (including Living World)(must be a proff capable of doing both single dmg and aoe)
4 for ‘’hardcore PvE’’ (dungeons and stuff)
1 for Crafting (will be ranger)(not really because of elitism,but just because I don’t like them)
Any suggestions?:-)

For PvP I like necro (condition) and warrior (hammer/bow)

For Guild Missions / Open World, engineer can be a good idea, grenades is awesome at both single damage and AoE and you can stay safe at 1500 range.

hardcore PvE get a warrior for sure, ele to provide fiery greatsowrd and might stacks and a bit of heal is usefull, guardians is also a sure bet for dungeons.

There’s 8 crafting professions so you probably want to spread it around, like 4 chars working on 2 each.

Depends of your personal taste too, thief is very good at PvP but personally I don’t like.

In dungeons thief isn’t that good, they are used in some dungeons to provide stealth to run pass some parts more easily, but in general they are just raw DPS, warriors/guardians/ele/mesmers provide more tools for the party.

I have all classes at lvl 80, and went for something similar to your idea, but this is how I went:
WvW: Engineer
PvP: necro and warrior
PvE: I use my ranger for almost everything and sometimes my guardian for dungeons
rest of my toons I don’t use much besides node farm :P

I think I will go with necro pvp,thief open world-gm memsmer wvw and the rest pve.I dont like grenades too much Also my thief has 100% completion so gonna be easier.

For PvE hardcore : Mesmer, Warrior, Guardian and Ele are the best choice. These are what most people use for speed run. Thief and Engie can also be good, but not the best. But Thief can be really awesome for Fractals.

WvW : If you want to roam its Mesmer or Thief. These are the two best. Warrior, Engie, Necro and even Ranger can do a pretty decent job too. If you like to Zerg, then its Warrior and Guardian. If you have a WvW Guild, then Necromancer and Elementalist are really useless profession too.

sPvP : Necro, Warrior, Mesmer and Thief are some of the best right now.

Guild Mission and stuff: Anything really. Just have map completion or at least most Wap so you can quickly travel during missions. The only profession i woudn’t use for that is my full DPS ele, she’s too squishy for events like in Lion Arch right now.

So,we all agree that for pvp-necro
Open world-thief
Wvw roaming-mesmer
Pve-the rest
