I always like to make my character as close to me irl as possible, it makes it more fun for me

Please say WHY the race fits to me. Whoever uses the most of my traits and it makes sense, gets full points

Personality/Physical traits:

-I’m artistic and love to draw comics
-Fav color: blue
-not very good with mathematics
-I love animals especially cats
-I’m pretty loud and not afraid to be myself
-I love nature
-I’m a good person and would never hurt a person on purpose or to get ahead
-I can be pretty “weird” and random and sometimes people don’t understand what I mean
-I make jokes a lot
-I dislike drinking loads of alcohol
-I like to think for myself and not follow others
-I’m short

Maybe you should choose Sylvari then :-) Their racial ability isnt awesome (take root isnt it?), but they fit more into your description. I think you can make a blue one if im not wrong. Theyre quite independent (altough not as independent as the Azurta), very careful about nature stuff. They do have a funny walk though, they kinda step on their toes, while the rest of the classes would first thread on their heels..which makes it look like they wanna pee or something. If you just want cat, then its charr all the way. Theyre not very elegant though, and I dont think blue is an option there. About pets and pet ideas, you should just shelf it immediately. None of the classes with pets use them much, apart from ranger who HAS to use it (if I could chose lets say 10% extra damage, id shelf my pet immediately, as it normally dies before reaching its target). But, what about that vanity pet you can buy from the gem store? A cat I think?

Norn are pretty much ruled out if you dislike drinking loads of alcohol, on the other hand you are pretty loud and not afraid to be yourself.

Asura, well you arent good at mathematics, but you like to think for yourself and not follow others. Also you are short. They do pull some stunts to get ahead of other crewes which in some cases might involve hurt. Though they do make odd jokes at times.

Charr, well, charr can be loud as well and you do love cats.

Sylvari, hrm, they are pretty peaceful, they love nature, they are weird and make odd jokes at times.

Humans, they are simply boring..

Asuras are small, and have pain-inverter. Most rangers I see these days are small buggers inspired by the pain-inverter ranger guy (whos awesome btw)

azuras are nice. Just forget that thing about rangers. Pick any other class hehe :-)

the thing is I always pick a ranger because I’ve been a hunter in WOW and like the pet haha!

take a peak at the rangers forums here and change your opinion :-) Its totally different from Wow (I have a ranger here and had a hunter in wow), kinda close to ranger in WAR, actually. Those who master it are quite decent, those who doesnt quit fast or reroll :-) You should visit every class-forum before deciding on a class :-)

If you’re a cat person, be a charr. The charr racial skills compliment a ranger nicely for fury stacking. (And since rangers do not rely on all 3 utility slots typically, the charr skill “Battle Roar” is a great filler!)

on the other hand I’m still thinking between norn since they are close to animals especially their elite abilities, and I can’t quite get over the idea of being part of the azura if I suck at mathematics

ok I choose a Norn. My cat likes to play with cotton tips, so I wrote all races on one and let her decide…she tried to run away with the Norn one in her mouth. It’s fate!!
