Did you get the 2 new POI’s in Lion’s Arch which were added in last patch?
Lions Arch : 13/13 WP , 23/23 POI, 11/11 VISTA
is the total I have , if that’s correct for that area since the last patch : )
I’m guessing you’ve checked every map for missing info given your list there.
Just in case you haven’t seen this site, I’ve found it useful for mapping: http://gw2cartographers.com/
I find it especially strange that I could miss 3 Vista’s , 2 poi’s maybe but 3 vista’s
I wish like the cartographers map, the actual GW2 area maps showed your completion, without having to spend gazumpteen coinage, going over each and every map multiple times sigh
I resorted to using a table copied from wiki to a word file. (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Explorable_zone) Now as I complete an area, I highlight it’s name in yellow. When I’m mapping, I open that and the gw2cartographers site. I’m going to make a guess that you have some area somewhere that is cloudy but is difficult to detect due to blending in.
One thing you could do is just count the vistas from your world map in each area and compare to this table. It might narrow down where you need to go and save you some coin that way. Luckily there aren’t that many vistas on each map usually. Hopefully the poi’s that you need are near the vistas.

Bookmarked that link, hopefully that help me track down these elusive few remaining
Any other suggestions, feel free to let me know
Are you certain you finished all WvW maps? Maybe you double checked the same borderland and actually missed another.
yeah, check the cities and wvw maps first. Getting all the explorable areas is the hard part, so you are golden. In my case, it was a city (divinities reach) that had a few missing,. They come “pre-explored” so it can be easy to miss a poi or vista. Plus we end up in cities so much we can trick ourselves into thinking we 100%’d them
checking the cities and wvw maps first is free too xD
I know you’ve said you got chantry, but definately double check order of whispers, from the bloodtide entrance, AND more importantly, through the asura gate in fort trinity. the second method got me my final POI that i hadnt got by going in through bloodtide.
These are the links I’m using at the moment to help track down the missing stuff

None of them agree, which just adds to the confusion lol
example:
In game : Lions Arch WP 13/13 POI 23/23 VISTA 11/11
Cartographers : Lions Arch WP 13/13 POI 25/25 VISTA 17/17
Guildhead : Lions Arch WP 13/13 POI 21/21 VISTA 11/11
( I am assuming the actual in game display would be the most reliable so will go through each area again to confirm )
Does completion of you personal story in any way contribute to the POI’s or VISTA’s found Just wondering? as I am only up to ‘Estate of Decay’ http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Estate_of_Decay in my personal story.
Go to The Grove, home city of the Sylvari just incase you can’t recall which that is. That might be the case, I had to re-complete it for some reason and apparently there was a bug awhile back in which people had to go back there as well. I was missing exactly 3 vistas as well, but more POIs than you.
Went back to the grove , went to every instance , way point, point of interest and re did the vistas, no change : (
Any other fixes people have heard of?
aw I’m sorry man. I went back and literally had them as not completed. I hope you find them. I’d check around cities first as you seem to have gotten all waypoints and hearts, meaning most likely you didn’t miss anything in any map except for cities. All the best mate!
Went through each explorable zone and city this morning checking for 100% completion. All are completed, also revisted Southsun Cove, Chantry of Secrets(from both directions) just in case. as well as the WvW Red/blue/green & Eternal.
I’m really at a loss as to what or where they could be now(
Do any of the Dungeons have POI that you might have missed? surely you would not have got map completion without them so all i can think is that the POI would have to be tied to areas that don’t affect map completion.
I’ve found this to be helpful – http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/User:Bluestone/Explorer
There are some areas in the zones that don’t have a POI but are an area itself. Double check with the above link that you can see all of the area names on your map.
You are missing 3 Vistas and 2 POI but looking at that screenshot, have you considered instances and visit all 3 orders headquarters?
P.S. In your OP you mean 263/266 Vista?

Did you check for 100% completion or did you check for the things that you’re missing. The percentages are sometimes rounded up. I’m willing to bet you either missed something or accidentally passed over checking a map thinking you had already looked at it.

What maps would do this though? Usually it goes like 91, 94, 97, 100. It never goes 98, 98, 99, 99 100. That map would have to have tons of poi for it to increase by decimal percentage points. So if he is missing 1 poi. And youre saying his percentage is probably 99.6, its gotta be at a map that has a lot of pois.
@ Death Reincarnated: My bad… vista count from OP corrected ,dyslexic typist at the best of times I’ve completed all of the wvw’s red/green/blue as well as eternal
@Ayrilana: I’ve used http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/User:Bluestone/Explorer
to make sure that all areas are uncovered, haven’t had any Undiscovered Vistas.
Costing up to 3K silver to revisit each area multiple time’s
Do you think submitting a bug report in game would get me any further along?
Has anyone submitted a bug report due to these issues, what kinda reponses did you receive?
You do not really need to visit each area!
Use this – http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/User:Bluestone/Explorer.
Go to your map and in each zone tick of the area names against that list – if part of an area looks smudged then it most likely has not been discovered – which may also include a vista!. If, however, nothing was found then you can narrow it down to something particular such as an instance, home world or such.
Based on teh fact you are missing some vistas it is highly likely that both the POI and vista are within each others proximity.
IF, and I mean IF, you have not found them then it is most likely a bug…unfortunatelly – I would start with the Orr region first since many players are suggesting there are lots of bugs there.

@Death Reincarnated: You should read his post right above yours.
@Hycinthus: I’m not certain if it’d even do that for zone maps but I’ve seen it done to world completion. I just thought I’d mention it in case there happened to be zones where that applied.
@TheOceans: Don’t use any more money to visit areas looking. I’d ask if you could use some video screen capture and scan your entire map and I’d look for you and see if I can find them.

OOOOPSI DAISY…Me did a boo boo…..lol.

Sorry for the little thread hi-jacking, but I’m stuck with the Ascalon Explorer. I now have 175/176. All the check-lists go to 175 area’s. It seems that the latest Event Patch has added a new area for Ascalon, but I have no idea where.
Does anyone know about this?
They added Vexx’s Lab into Fireheart Rise during the Shadow of the Mad King release – have you got that?
It was indeed Vexa’s Lab I was missing.
Thanks a lot, Lexy! Now I have 176/176
Yeah! Well Done
