Guild Wars 2

What are 2 classes that would be good for duo’ing? We plan to do both PvE and the various PvPs. We both like AoE’ing for when we do PvE. My friend might play a Guardian, what would go good with this.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

The great thing is almost anything pairs together well. So feel free to pick any class you personally like, and you guys will click.

With that being said, warrior/guardian is pretty good. You guys will own PvE and be desired for dungeons.

You could also run mesmer, coordinating it you guys could easily have solid uptime with Aegis (chaos armor from mesmer).

Ele has good AOE and can lay down some good combo finishers for the guards whirls or leaps (depending on weapons), plus fire fields for might stacking.

Most classes work well with Guardians, but melee classes do tend to synergize better. One thing to note about the Guardian is that it has very low damage output, so you will want a class that has good DPS.

Me and my friend constantly run warrior/ele combo and we pretty much facerush everything and do champs ourselves. Depends on your spec though too.

as other said any 2 classes would work, is more about the build than the class itself, hell if you wanted to be creative you could make a tanky/supportive ele with a glass canon guardian (yeah okay maybe better to do it the other way, but is mostly to illustrate that just about anything will work, as long as you use builds that complement eachother)
