Plot twist: NO CRAFTING

Trying to find the quickest way to get to a Dungeon level so I can start leveling the rest of the way from there. Story quests give a decent amount of XP, but is inconsistent to the point where the quests will out-level you if you focus solely on them.

Dynamic events give such little XP that they aren’t worth the time you put into them.

WvW used to be an experience haven, but I tried that the other night, and I don’t know if they reduced the XP you get from capturing outposts and strongholds, but it took an hour just to get one level.

So, what to do?

I found that doing your personal story generated a lot of XP.

The Quickest way is by playing the game, having fun, doing things with friend then checking your level at the end of the day.

Seriously, what’s with the rush? lol Have fun.

The fastest way that i have found is running with a karma train in WvW. Did this earlier today actually and i think i got 4 or 5 levels in about an hour. Problem with this is it has to be an ideal situation so don’t expect to always get exp this fast. Sometimes there will not be a train going when you are on or they have already finished. In pve i would say run events in queensdale. There are a good amount of events that spawn rather quickly and usually there are a lot of people doing them.

• Always make sure you have both a potion and food with +XP per kill on
• Harvest everything you see
• Kill everything in your path, especially non-hostile mobs in out of the way places – the longer they’ve been around the more bonus xp you get for them
• Detour when a dynamic event pops up close by, but don’t run halfway across the map to get to one.

I do all those things while completing a map and find the levels fly by. The best part is you don’t need a zerg. Just keep moving and killing.

Map completion has the nice bonus of giving you a nice bit of XP and a pile of crafting materials appropriate to the map level, which is nice for crafting leveling later on. You’d be surprised at how much XP you get from exploring.

Edit – Oh and find someone to pal around with. My husband and I duo to level and it goes fairly quickly.

Doing DEs give more exp than hearts, or rather faster since DEs generally are faster to finish than hearts, and you can do them over and over again. The problem is finding a chain of DEs to do successively. In that note, try following a capping group in wvw. The exp you get is pretty good.

Crafting is the quickest way.

Run around all 5 cities with movement buffs getting all points of interest, w/p etc…completely safe too…

Then at whatever level you are, run around all 5 starting zones doing same thing…
