Guild Wars 2

Me and a friend decided to start playing GW2 recently and I notice that the system for servers is pretty rigid in respect to not being able to have 2 characters on 2 separate servers which in turn locks a person to playing on 1 server and 1 server only.

So, how the heck am I to know which server would be the best for me to play on without dabbling around on servers a bit? I would prefer to avoid que times (I think I read something about que times) that are on average longer than 3 minutes. Also, I’m an extremely experienced rpg of the mmo type variety, my friend however, not so much.

There are no login queues in GW2 since they use an overflow system but the higher tier servers will have queues for WvW since there is a limit on how many players can be on those maps.

The reason you can only have toons on one server is because of WvW, we can’t have you creating a character on another server to spy or sabotage.
