Guild Wars 2

I have no idea what I want to be race wise, and profession wise.

Races I like: Human, Asura, and Sylvari.

For profession:

I like high burst dmg.

Range is cool, but I am also ok with melee.

Survivability is an interest.

I like looking cool, or some reason I fight better when I like my character.

I am very new, I tried PvP and was totally confused.

Asura have terrible elites. Asura have really nice rolling animations. Asura also have really nice utility skills.

Sylvari have really nice condition damage elites. Sylvari have useful utility skills.

Humans have really nice power elites. Humans have pretty bad utility skills (unless you’re an Engineer).

Humans and Sylvari (and Norn + Charr) all roll the same. It’s just a body-roll forward (somersault, if you will).

For a profession, if you’re new, I would suggest a ranged profession. Of course everyone gets range, but professions such as Warrior and Ranger are the typical “newbie” professions.

I say newbie and not noobie because newbie (in my book) stands for someone who’s new. (Noobie on the other hand is someone who SHOULD know the game by now, and doesn’t. Example: 2000 hours played on Engineer and still has trouble soloing Veterans.)
