Guild Wars 2

So this is my first real MMO ever, I played Runescape as a young lad quite some time ago but this is completely different obviously.

I’m a Charr and I’ve gone through the first set of heart’s or missions and I’m in the “real ashlands” or something, the place with all the ghosts. I’m level 6 and I feel like I’m missing… something.

I’m enjoying the game but I just feel like I’m missing an aspect of the game. I’m a warrior and I’ve just been doing the quests, killing things, and taking part in the world events in the area. I’ve done some exploring but not a lot.

I hear people talk about how much there is to do in GW2 but so far I haven’t seen that much, maybe because I’m still in the starting area, but it feels like I’m just missing something.

So what is it? I’ve tried looking around the forums a bit and the web and haven’t found much. Thanks, and sorry I’m new to this haha.

From my understanding, Look on your map and you should see things to go to. Once you do that for enough levels you get mail asking for help. That is your personal story, so you follow through that. If that makes sense?

I am going off research as I am downloading the game as we speak lol.

With the new player experience they added in april 2014 you dont see so much on the map it was to confuseing for new people apparently think you have to level up to around lvl 20 before you see all the skillpoint vistas points of interest etc.

Personal story is now every 10 levels and even when you see every icon on map search around there are hidden jumping puzzels and mini dungeons open world chest aswell.

Befriend people you see always more fun with a bud at your side, dont hesitate to help people there is no kill taging all get loot for monsters same with nodes of resources its your own personal ones and you can grab it on every character on your account.
