Last Halloween my highest level character was about level 30. As a result I wasn’t able to finish making Mad Memories. I made the first version, but not the upgraded one.

Not a big deal I thought, I’ll finish it next year. So I kept it, for a year. At first I was wearing it, then I kept it in one of my bags.

Then Halloween rolled around again and to my (and everyone else’s it seems) surprise the quest didn’t come back. I can’t upgrade Mad Memories and I can’t get copies for other characters I wanted one on.

So now the question is what do I do with the one I’ve got? I don’t want to use it as it is because it’s stats are way below the back item I’ve got. But it’s soulbound and I also don’t want to throw it away.

If you like how it looks you can transmute to a one with higher stats, that’s what I did with mine. Otherwise, you can try to break the soulbinding by transmuting it. A guildie transferred hers to another character. She didn’t give me the details but I think she transmuted it twice and the second time it became account bound.

I might try transmuting it. I have more back items/skins than characters thanks to Living World rewards, but I do like that one so I might be able to find a character to use it on.

Just a shame I can’t get the finished version. If I’d known it wasn’t going to come back I’d have made more of an effort last year.

I accidentally destroyed my copy of that, which kinda stinks since now I’d really like to have that skin.
