Hi!
I need help getting my redhead just right! I’ve spent a lot of time and still can’t seem to get her the right way. What skin is best for a redhead? I’ve tried Pale 1( might be the best but seems washed out), Light 14(too bright) and some others.

What skin did you use for your redhead?? Please help me out so I can finally get playing lol.

ps. if you can’t remember make a new redhead that resembles your own to help me out lol

In the real world, Redheads tend towards the pale side, some even appear almost as pale as an Albino. They have a greater tendency to suffer sunburn and skin cancer. The reason, Redheads tend to have little of one type of melanin (Eumelanin) and a lot of another type (Pheomelaninin).

So, the answer to your question, find a pale skin you can settle on and have fun.

I’ve known a lot of gingers (and one ginger in particular I know very well), and yes – they’re so pale, they glow in the moonlight. Also, the hair color tends more towards orange than actual red. Eye color can be green, but is more commonly blue, grey, or a mix. Most gingers have curly or wavy hair.

My real life complexion is closest to light 9. I am physically unable to tan, so “washed out” is a pretty accurate description. When I’m cold, I turn purple, so I’m also hesitant to call any of the reddish tones “too bright.” Neither color you mentioned is unrealistic. Which one is prettiest is, of course, subjective.

Keep in mind in game your character will look different depending on the lighting conditions around her (sometimes drastically so).

Toggle the light switch a few times, look somewhere else between changing skintones so your eyes don’t start to glaze over all the differences, and take whatever looks nice to you.

(My own redheads are all dark skinned, because that’s how I like it. If I wanted realistic, I’d go outside )
