Dungeons is the usual way of getting gold. Low level fractals can be pretty good too. Unless you’re willing to descend into the hell that is TP flipping then those are the usual ways. Also, EOTM and to a lesser extent these days, champ trains are other ways to get income.

No, I actually tried making money out of TP prices and it didnt work for me too well. I had like 2 gold income in week based on guides that were suposed to get me more.
Im doing everything but trains and my income isnt that high.

guides aren’t that good really. Playing the TP is like playing the stock exchange. If you buy up stuff to then sell later at a higher price, it doesn’t work quickly because people can undercut you. But if you buy materials off the TP and craft up items then resell those, the margin is better.

Low level masterwork items produced in large quantities can be profitable over the long term. One of my guildies does that and nets 10-20g whenever he does it. It’s all about long term outlook.

I made the same comment in a different thread but I’ll repeat it here.

If you’re going to work over the TP there are basically two forms of income.

1. High rarity, high value, low volume items will get you high margin per item.

2. Lower rarity, low value, high volume items will get you low margin per item but will sell relatively quickly.

For instance, if I want to make trades by crafting, I buy the parts to make a Ruby Orichalcum Amulet of the Berserker and sell it for 5g. it might have cost me about 2-2.5g to buy the parts to make it but my margin is 100%.

As a second example, I buy materials to make 100 Mighty Bronze Swords, which are level 20 items. Each item sells for about 10s, but it might cost me 8s to buy the parts to make it. i.e. My margin is 25%.
However, if you look at the total income from this, it’s 10g

Once you factor in the trading company commission, you need to make a minimum 15% profit to break even. This is very important when you try to flip items on the trading company.

My preference is high value and high rarity items, especially ones that I can make. However, I keep an eye on the sum cost of the materials that I use to make sure that what I’m selling could have netted me more profit if I had sold the item in its separate parts.

here’s another example, I recently found that I had enough materials to craft the exotic weapon Titan’s Vengeance, if I bought a few extra materials. So I invested about 30 gold and bought the materials I needed and listed for 100g. Sold after a couple weeks or so

zerk anything usually sells well, knights, possible Dire, as well can sell for decent prices.

The other ones like Rampagers, Carrion, etc may not be as profitable.

Have a look at masterwork items that are quite low level. They can sometimes be quite good prices relative to the cost of their materials.
