Guild Wars 2

First of all.. I really like this game.. Kudos to Arena.net for bringing a very good game for us to play..

To help support GW2 and Arena.net in General, I willing to spend 300 or 400 dollars for the next 3 months, $100 for Oct. & Nov. & maybe $200 or $300 for Dec.

I decided to postpone my New PC purchase and wait for Intel Haswell CPU coming next year and decided to spend it on GW2 instead..

With 300 to 400 dollars worth of Gems.. WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD THING TO PURCHASE INGAME?

Bank Slots? Inventory Slots? Char slots?

Char.
lvl 80 Human Guardian (Main)
lvl 20 Asura Engineer
lvl 2 Sylvari Ranger (for PVP)
Not a Deluxe Edition Copy (Probably Would Purchase this Ingame)

To be honest, right now there isn’t a whole lot of things to do with Gems. Bank and Char slots are always nice, but there aren’t much cosmetic options and utilities. Anet has been busy with smoothing out the game, so I think we’ll see more stocked in the gem shop in the near future.

You can buy the deluxe edition like you said, maybe some dye packs or mini packs if you are into those.

I’d go with bank slots, can never have too many of them, and extra toon slots, for just in case you want one of each. Deluxe edition as well, that way you get a free skill at 30. Since you’re looking to spend serious coin, why not splurge and buy some social clothing?

- If you’d ask me, I would buy character slots (up to eight), then bank slots and finally inventory slots. But you’re not me, I don’t know if you prefer having one or two complete characters at the time, or if you’re constantly making new characters. How much of the loot you prefer to keep in storage is another question only you can answer.

My line of thinking is:

Bank and Inventory slots > Cosmetics I really want > Boosts and other consumables

Character slots are something I guess you should spend on when you need them. One character can easily fill up the bank and their inventory but you only need character slots when you’re bored with your fifth toon and beyond.
