What weapons can a Warrior and Guardian actually use?

I am presently a Guardian at level 9 and the only weapons I am allowed to equip are the sword and the hammer and staff. I want to use a short bow or longbow for distance, but the game won’t allow it. So I have no long range weapon? Is the Warrior allowed to have a short bow or longbow? What weapons can a Warrior actually have?

Melee: Sword, Great Sword, Mace, Hammer
Ranged: Staff, Scepter

Two-Handed: Hammer, Greatsword, Staff
Main-Hand: Mace, Scepter, Sword
Off-Hand: Focus, Shield, Torch
Aquatic: Spear, Trident

Edit: Corrected Info. Sorry for some reason I thought you said warrior, and when I looked back I realized I’d written the wrong info
