It seems that its a mixed set but cant seem find this armor, can anyone name it?

Ahh that’s a shame, thanks for the information.

A thread about this armor pops up once in a while. I’m eagerly waiting for it to (please, please, please) come out eventually. Maybe it will be released as ascended or legendary armor? I fell in love with this skin before the game was released because it was used in a lot of the lead up blog posts, etc. I also saw it used in a promo picture in the gem store. They like to torture me with it.

humm this armor look better than many armors available right now, i wonder why they decided to excluded this armor.

The armor even does exist, just not available for players atm. Countess Anise is wearing it.

I’ve actually been surprised disappointed that this armor isn’t available to players. If you watch this video from the mesmer release: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ylkt1UV_TU and skip to 1:39 you’ll see a mesmer wearing that armor in game. I was a bit disappointed to see that some NPCs have armors and clothes that we players can’t have. The models are there, so I wonder why they are not available.

With some NPCs I think it’s understandable because they want them to stand out and if everyone could have that outfit it wouldn’t be special.

With others I suspect it’s an issue of making it work on all the races. They clearly wanted to limit the number of racial armor sets and everything else has to work on all the races, so if they come up with a cool outfit for a human but can’t make it work on a charr they restrict it to NPCs.

But you never know, they will probably add more armor sets in future updates or expansions and it might include ones that are currently NPC only.

Looks like all the pictures and the links of this armor is on the human’s. maybe they swapped it out for the cultural t3 for the sorcerer’s.
