When you say “after one day” do you mean after 24h or did you do the JP’s during the night, then tried again during the day? My guess would be that they reset either after 24h or during the daily reset at 1am.

They should reset 24hours since your last opening, but they do bug out quite often and stay open.

I’m almost 100% sure you can open them once in day. As day I mean time between daily resets (it’s at 0:00 GMT) not day in your timezone.

Secondly there is also second timer. So if you opened chest just before daily reset, and visit there just after it, the chest will be still open. Don’t know exact time but it’s 4-8 hours i think. Or maybe just zoning in and out works.
