Stupid question I guess, but I’ve found vendors hard to come by.

Check Karma vendors, i’ve got mine from them. Can’t tell you which ones exactly though, sorry.

Yeah I would say Karma vendors also.

Not sure maybe someone can say but does artificers make them also?

There is a Karma vendor (after completing the heart quest) near an underwater area in Metrica Province that sells aqua breathers. I forget the name of the guy though.

i have found several from the Karma vendors. Usually the ones that sell aquabreathers are located by water, like lakes ect. i have seen one (and only one) posted on the trading post. I don’t know if that was a drop or if it was crafted.

I have been googling this topic because it seems like the aqua breathers are kind of spaced out between levels and there is a gap in the benefits you receive from that stats on the gear. My guess is if you buy the green items they will last longer as adequate and useful gear. Maybe this is supposed to fill the Stat-benefit gap, i’m not sure.

Also i found a beta forum where players stated they recieved the bonus stats from the aquabreather when they are above water, but i can’t find anything official if this is true or not.

Does anyone know if these items can be crafted?

Not sure on crafting, I was maybe thinking since artificing makes tridents etc, that perhaps they can make breathers too. Not got far in Artificing to know that.

But a quick way to see if the stats stack on land is to swim and to check your stats to see if they increase or not, if they don’t then they must stack on land.

Just went around Bloodtide Coast where I had some hearts full (and has lots of water), but didn’t have much luck :/

Its just like Jared sais. You can buy one from the karma vendor at the lake in nortwest part of Metrica Province.

He is the one displayed as the heart. And as everywhere else you will need to complete the heart in order to buy karma stuff.

There’s no karma vendors in the NW that sell an aqua breather.

Orr 80 zone has a kharma vendor that sells then, they are level 80 and green, go get then!

There’s a karma vendor selling aqua breathers in Bloodtide Coast, on one of the islands. Something related to inquest.

There’s also a fisherman Karma vendor in Queensdale that sells them

Do you remember which one? I had 3 hearts filled there and neither were selling them.

Lionguard Hester located to the East of Kraitbane Haven Waypoint in the Sylvari starter zone sells the Aquabreathers. If you have trouble finding the Waypoint, it’s located in the Northern part of the map, to the East of Treemarch Estuary and The Rowanwoods.

He sells each one for 161 Karma:
—-Kraitbane Metal Aquabreather
—-Kraitbane Cloth Aquabreather
—-Kraitbane Leather Aquabreather

I had no idea aquabreathers could be upgraded

I crafted one on my armorsmith but it was a lvl 20 item i had found the recipe in the charr 1-15 area where there are engineers testing new stuff , there was only 1 recipe and it was heavy armor none for tailoring or leatherworking that i would have used on my alts it had 23 defense +7 toughness

where is this karma vendor. ive searched for him but have yet to find him.

There is a renown heart vendor in Bloodtide Coast on Stormbluff Isle that sells breathers. There is also a karma vendor in Cursed Shore on Winterknell Shore that sells lvl 80 breathers.

Anyone who can get a reliable supply of them could almost certainly earn plenty of gold, given how rare they are on the TP…

There is only one(mentioned above) recipe I know of.
