Set a man on fire, and he’ll be warm the rest of his life.

In GW1 I could always find game update notes. They helped keep me apprised of skill changes, bug fixes, etc. Where can I find this for GW2? Occasionally there is a link to a blog post from the Welcome Screen, but I can’t locate an actual official web page.
Specifically, I have a female Sylvari that fell victim to the no-glow bug with the Total Makeover Kit. My gems were refunded, but I still want to get my glow back. The bugged Makeover Kits have never been removed from the Gem Store, and I have no idea where to go to find out if they have been fixed. It would be nice to know whether or not they supposedly work now before I apply changes with my replacement Kit.
(The EYES were also messed up by the kit… they no longer face the same direction, although in my replacement Makeover Kit they appear normal.)
I would also love to know things like when the announced Trading Post Preview is actually proposed to finally take effect, and where to go to find ANYTHING associated with the “Flame and Frost” story. I have found extremely little content for something that has been talked up for several weeks now. One event I stumbled upon to plug steam vents, and fixing signposts and collecting refugee mementos for a collector who gives nothing in return. That’s all so far. And the “influx of refugees” consist of “camps” of about 4-6 NPCs that say nothing helpful to give you any idea where you can go to find a little action. Thpppt!
Besides the Wiki you can look through the News and Announcements subforum…just look for any threads that start with "Game Update Notes and you’ll get all the same info that everyone else has.

Also, everything we know about Flame and Frost pretty much comes from the main page…
