Guild Wars 2

I’m new to GW2 after playing ESO as my first ESO for a year. I noticed that no one much chats in zone chat on GW2, and I have no idea how to go about finding a guild in Guild Wars 2.

I’m looking for a casual PVP guild. Can anyone help?

Ok, for finding a pvp guild do try asking while being in the pvp lobby. Allthough I think we all know that that particular map chat can be… challenging… to deal with sometimes.

I’ve had most success finding good guilds through forums, both this one and fan-run ones. But you can also find good ones by asking in-game.

However you do it I think one of the key things in finding a good guild is to think about what specifically you want from them. Do you want to do more World vs World (which is like Cyrodiil in ESO) or 5-man PvP arenas? Do you want a guild that will teach you, or simply play with you while you figure it out or do you think you’ve got the hang of it and you want a dedicated team to play with? Do you only want to do PvP with them or would you like a guild that also plays together when they’re in PvE? Or whatever is important to you.

https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/community/lookingfor is the place. I would recommend posting EU/NA and home world server. The better you describe what you want the more likely you are to find it. Just note there are some that give you a wall of text regardless of what you say.

Alternatively most servers have their own site/forums and often you can find guild recruitment forums there.
