As the title says, I’m looking for Corrupted Lodestones, as I need it for crafting a weapon I want to make, I’ve searched around, and most people say farm Frostgorge Sound, although I’ve heard reports of people doing it with massive amounts of magic find, and it still takes ages, If Lodestones are really that rare, then what about cores? Cause one of my friends is able to make lodestones out of 2 cores and some other ingredients in the mystic forge. Is there any other way of farming those 2 items apart from constantly grinding FS? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Corrupted lodestone and cores both are drops in HoTW explorable.

I know I got ~3 cores from the zealot path, and someone in my party pinged a corrupted lodestone that they said they got.

Im not sure if it came from a chest, or if it just dropped.

My guild leader believes it comes from the icebrood elementals. So if you want, hang around frostgorge till claw of jormag shows up, throw on your MF gear, and then fight the icebrood elementals that spawn near the crystals he throws about. See if that helps.

Either HoTW explorable as i`ve heard or from elementals in Frostgorge Sound.Yet to see a drop for me from instance,but already got 2 corupted lodestones as drop-one from elementals in north/north-west part of map and second one from one of elementals during first phase of Claw Of Jormag fight.In both cases will need a lot of luck.Best way in my opinion regularly check TP and buy all lodestones/cores.Will be faster than kiling numerous icebrood elementals.

Yeah, but each lodestone costs 80s~ each, which is quite a lot of money, and I wanted to craft the Corrupted Avenger which uses up 30 of them. Thanks for the answers guys.

Just going to put in my input on what i have found to have dropped lodestones: any level 80+ iceblood elemental in frostgorge sound(this include the elementals that Seers spawn). i have yet to get a drop from a below level 80 elemental(but dont rule them out). the level 80 elementals(the suicide ones) durring temple of grenth boss fight event also drop lodestones
