Yes I am familiar with the TP, but I am looking at farming my own mats instead of buying them.

I have been looking for good spot/event to farm mats. So far, I have found Gendarran Fields- (Arena Event) to be a good place for T2 and Harathi Hinterlands (Centaur Meta event) to be a good place for T3. Then there is Cursed Shores DEs for T5/T6 (mostly bones tho). However I have not found anything similar yet for T4.

I have completed the lvl 50-60 areas such as Timberline Falls, Iron Marches, and Sparkfly Fen with several characters but I have not yet found a comparative spot for T4 mats. In my experience the better spots have guys that drop bags of loot that provide a greater variety of loot instead of a specific material. As in those events I mentioned before they have quick cool downs, relatively large mobs that go down fairly quick. So I ask you, is there anything similar for the T4s?

In Timberline Falls, there is an river called the Gentle River. There’s a waypoint in that area. North of that Waypoint is a small lake. In that lake are a lot of barracuda. Those barracuda drop Smooth Scales with some frequency. Smooth Scales being the T4 Scales. They do not drop T3 or T5 Scales. Just T4 Smooth Scales. Hope that helps!

I believe there could be no one location to farm all T4 mats, but you can try searching for it on the wiki to find which mobs drop it and their respective locations.
