Where does everyone get their patch info?

In multiple cases, it just seems like people get their patch info ahead of time or they have info that wasn’t listed on the “official” patch notes listed in the announcements section of the forums. So I’m just curious, am I crazy and missing something or are they just making assumptions etc.?

A lot of info is posted on Facebook, Twitter, and sometimes reddit.

I don’t have accounts at any of those sites…but I use an RSS feed reader and get the info that way.
