I’ve been trying to find a way to farm karma (Working on a Legendary) .. Ive Tried the Queensdale train, but it is very very disorganized, and I only got about 200 Karma per event…

I keep hearing something about Orr, but the last time there was a good farm there was before they fixed Plinx.. Unless (Anet) didn’t mess with the Penitent Path/Shelter’s gate/Jofast’s Events?

Any tips would be appreciate..

Daily Activity for 600
Daily Completion for 600
The occasional vial in champion bags for 600
Dynamic events plus karma modifier(s)
Higher level fractals (I believe) for 10k

Btw, the “event completion” only shows the karma gained upon level, not what you actually received – see the rolling loot part for that.

Example if you have +10% karma, the reward for the event shows 200, but you actually got 220.

Edit: Sorry, I don’t think there is a real “fast” way to grind karma. I am actually surprised about the amount that does come in, but I don’t have to watch it so my perception will surely be different. I guess Orr events might be lucrative, but I’m not sure if they are more efficient than Queensdale for example (lvl 80 events should get you base 378 karma).

Consider also alternative ways for lodestones – Fractals might be the best way speedwise since you can also buy them for relics. Laurels are another way (which I would only go with if that is the last item you need). I think that’s about it…

Well.. I suppose my issue is not “fast” so much as “Consistent” So I can pop a booster and go at it, secure in the knowledge that I’m not going to end up standing around for hours at a time wasting the booster..

underleveled high level fractals.
for example: get your fractal level to 30, then run fractal level 20.
every run takes about an hour and will get you about 8000 karma. not to mention fractal relics which can be turned directly into obsidian shards.

I suppose that is going to be what I have to do..

WvW is a good place to get Karma too!

WvW. Can’t stress enough that you can get gross amounts of karma here, especially with boosters. I almost gave up hope of getting a legendary because I needed like 500k karma. Got that in less than a month in WvW, and only casually played it weekends.

Also, world bosses and fractals.

Activities is a good way to get karma, especially the shorter ones like Sanctum Sprint or Crab Toss. You get 600 for a loss, and 1000 for a win.

Doing Tequatl is also a good way to get karma, provided you can get into a good overflow. A successful kill gives you 10,000 karma, not counting the karma you get from the events during it.

i actually ran a meta train on my server that last 4 nights in a row covering all temples (balth included for the finish) in order to farm dragonite ore for myself and guildies who need it for armor/weaps and got a total of 40k karma and 200+ ore (not sure of exact totals) in 3 hours over the 15 meta events and pre events. might even run it again tonight and go for a 5 time in a row success on balth temple.

Wvwvw karma trains on the day or day before reset. Love em or hate them they are there. I believe I have made enough karma in a couple hours for a temple piece (42000 karma).

I have tried WvW, but it seems like I can never find an aggressive Commander to follow who is taking towers and such… Sigh

I have only ever seen one Karma Train in WvW. When do you usually see that happening, Thursday Nights/Friday Mornings?
