Hi all. I recently got a precursor and it happens to be for a legendary I want (Quip). This will be my 1st legendary. I only have about 10k karma atm (ouch i know), and most of the other mats that don’t require karma. Where can i get karma now since almost all of the ways to get karma have been removed from the game. Now I could rant and rant about how these changes were completely over the top, but I figured i might just check with the community to see where they get their karma from now.

WvW is not an option for me because my server consistently gets stomped, and we never have huge zergs capping everything in sight. That being said, any help would be of great justice.

Thanks!

Fractals 10 levels below your personal reward level, with karma boosters. I.e. doing 18 when your level is 28, or 28 when your level is 38
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Fractals_of_the_Mists#Personal_Reward_Levels
However, this is still a lot of grind, since fractals can take very long, and have very poor time – reward ratio.

Dungeon champs drop small vials of karma. Sorrows Embrace Path 1 is good as its fast, easy and you get 5 champ bags.

I’m after karma to, but it stacks up when you do the meta events- especially a temple one from orr if you’re there from the start.

Or find a zone that’s not highly populated and they’ll generally be gathering events on going. Much more fun if you’re in a group though. 15-25 areas seem to have lots of events. Centaurs seem to come with lots of events to.

Most champions in Queensdale are classed as an event if you want to multitask.

yeap, the activities that change every day are a pretty good karma source. I love it when the hunger games mini game and sanctum spirit are there ^^ it’s so much fun and gives you an alternative to grinding for a precursor…. or t6 or icy runestones or specific gift and I think there are a lot more things that needs grinding if you don’t want to wait 1 year to get a legendary Go forth and spend your precious time on pixels yaaay…

sry, crafting legendaries can make you bipolar.

Just a thought, what do people say about the Queensdale champ train? Except for spider they are all events, should be around 250 per champ – so about 1k per round?

“Whose Kitten is this?” – “It’s a Charr baby.”
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”

1K sounds about right. Boar – oak – troll – bandit, plus wasp when it’s up.
