Last time I played heavily, I used to run a lot of World Events (nearly every one each day) and got a decent amount of gold/mats from them, however this was quite a bit before HoT and now there’s all the new jungle stuff to do.

So which World Bosses are still worth doing for mats/gold/gear? I’ve been doing karka/tequatl/shatterer (with rework) and whichever other boss is the daily, but I could also be running fractals/raids/HoT meta events so I’m trying to get an idea which ones provide more mats/gold/gear altogether?

Tequatl, Maw, Karka, TT if possible. Shatterer if you like it. The others are so-so, Jormag is the worst as rewards if you don’t go for champ bags.

Only TT, Teq, Karka, and optional Shatt for achievement.

Otherwise just farm fractal 40 and sell everything. You’re guaranteed to have 60s per run due to 3 encryptions loot. With an average run of 2m (good group) or 3m (average group) you can get almost 15-20g per hour after factoring loots like lodestones.

Why’d you post this in the pvp section?

What’s Tequatl, Maw, Karka, TT?
Did we get a pvp patch?
Are those new war traits?
I don’t think you can get 20g/hr in pvp.
Is pve a new gamemode what’s that?

Except for those you mention in Tyria you can also do Silverwaste meta map with roughly and hour of ongoing events with several bossfights and what not in the end. It will give you a lot of loot, actaully loads of it, and crafting material. You can combine doing this and also chestfarming which will give you decent gold still.

Doing low level bosses is not really worth it unless you pass the area. The gold you get is flat out terrible, and the loot you will get anyway just by playing the map, it is really not that rewarding except for xp and karma and some rare loot if you hunt ectos, which you should do in Silvewaste anyway.
