Which dye is this?
Looks like abyss/burgundy to me. I can recognise loss of armor texture from abyss, but it could be midnight ice just as well(they look very, very similar on some armors).
What is the most black looking dye?
I guess the blackest dye would be abyss. I think that armour has several black looking dyes. It probably has Abyss, Midnight Ice, and Midnight Fire.
Abyss is the most black looking, followed by Black. Midnight Ice/Fire have a little bit of blue/red in them.

Abyss, as a rule. Applied to -some- armor bits it comes out much lighter, but those bits tend to lighten any applied hue. Black is pretty close, I believe, but so far I’ve only previewed it rather than getting a 3D multi use from it.
If you mean what less expensive dye is closest, I’m partial to Midnight Yew. It’s got deep green highlights but at a distance does look black.
