Guild Wars 2

I have 2 lev 80 toons. Asura mesmer and Charr warrior.
I do enjoy playing both of them, but each of them in different (although in some parts similar) way.

War GS melee machine… secondary rifle/bow depends on situation. Love aesthetics – T3 cultural helm makes me drool
Mesmer ranged GS killer (see similarity? ) with secondary sword/x. Hate to melee as Mesmer – too squishy. Love asura GS&dodge animations.

I enjoy boyh WvW and PvE aspects of game. Also will want to start doing dungeon runs at some point. For now Silverwastes are my favorite place….

So – I am slowly calculating Laurels, Damascus, bricks etc and in week or two I will be able to craft full set of ascended armor for one of my toons…. but which one? I am quite sure I will not be willing to go through THE farm another time – difference is not that huge.

And that is my question – which of my toons should I pimp-up?

I’d go with warrior, cos you can run with zerk armor in both wvw and pve on a warrior. It’s also easier to get accepted in a group if you’re using a warr than a mesmer (it’s not as bad as prepatch CoF, but some ppl still prefer warr over mesmer in their dungeon runs nowadays).

Fashion wise: asura light armor looks kinda meh for me. The only armor that looks pretty nice is their t3 armor. Charr on the other hand have a great collection of heavy armor. All of the cultural armor, some of the order equipments, the glorious set, and the ascended helmet look nice on charr.

You are right – mesmer would need 2 sets to have optimal possibilities so war it is!
