Guild Wars 2

I was looking forward to playing gw2 because it was supposed to be a PvP focused game, but it has turned out to be a heavily single player type experience.

It seems impossible to PvP with a friend of mine consistently. I literally just want to play with 1 person on the same team in sPvP for a few games every now and then. However, half the time I am forced to play against them. Where is the fun in that?

If there were other options I suppose I would be fine with. However, I can’t seem to play with him in WvW because there is approximately a 3 hour queue just for 1 of us to get in, and who knows if both of us will ever be able to get in together. 3 hours is a long time to wait and I would imagine a normal person would not have that kind of time.

We also tried the tournaments, since that guarantees us to be on the same team. But the queue time for that was incredibly long as well. We never got a queue for this and just gave up.

I understand that you don’t want pre-made groups of 5-8 people in a single game of sPvP. That’s reasonable, but there has to be some way to allow players to play with each other.

I would like to see some kind of 2v2 and 3v3.

Yep. For a “pvp focused” game, the current sPvP set up is downright horrible.
