Sorry for all the recent posts, but I’m trying to go over the things I don’t fully understand.

So, why is it that some items soulbind and others don’t? I just got some shoulder pads which were similar to my own, only stronger by 5-6%. My older, slightly weaker shoulders didn’t need soulbinding, yet these new ones did. The new ones were masterwork, and the others weren’t, so this could explain it.

Is it random, or is it more likely if it’s a high quality item or such?

Items that are Masterwork (Green) quality or above are soulbound on equip.

karma and badge bought weapons, trinkets or armor are soulbound on acquire

The exotic trinkets from the temple vendors are an exception. Those are account bound and soul bound on equip.
