Q:
Why does the BLTC take the listing fee twice?
Read the wiki, it tells you exactly how the BLTC operates. It takes a listing fee when the item is posted and it will also take a selling fee when it sells. If the item does not sell, you wont be refunded the listing fee.
Wouldn’t it make more sense for it to be the other way around? As an incentive to actually sell stuff, and not just use the BLTC as second storage?
It’s another way to eradicate gold circulation the way I see it. Which is fine, we don’t need 1% of individuals running around with 100k gold anytime soon.
It is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE that the BLTC takes a 15% cut from all your sales. Selling an exotic staff that I crafted for 3 gold gives me 2 gold 55 silver. That’s ridiculous. No other MMO that I know of takes that much of a cut from trade transactions.
how is it unacceptable? its a computer game. we arent comparing interest rates on loans.

Why would you sell it for the same price it cost to make?…
It doesnt matter what other MMO’s trading post’s charge, they aint run by the blacklion
Because morons have flooded the market for the cost of production, and you can’t go much higher. I even saw some people sell the same type of staff for 2.7g or even lower.
The economy will take time to balance out. Also alot of big guilds out there will and have been trying to take control of the economy for their server. Its what happens, you just gotta find a gap for yourself…which also might take time
