Why play fotm??
There are some things in higher levels you can get like fractal weapons skins etc. But, yeah, i don’t think its really worth the effort. There are not enough things you can buy with fractal relics at present, if there were more things you might want to go higher so you can do multiple dailys to go bonus relics. Also drops are increased very slightly the higher you get, but not substantially.
The idea of fractals is really the same as the idea behind Orr…
It’s there to do, if anyone feels like it, but there are better options everywhere…
So shines a good deed in a naughty world.

Hello,
I DO KNOW it is not rgn or i am unlucky. i could be unlucky once twice but not 5 time to get big fat 0 rares except 1 time(i got 1).
How could rng prevent you from being unlucky more than once or twice? I’ve seen runs myself in which I got 5 or 6 rares and 2 exotics and then I can easilly do 10 runs without ever getting more than 1 or 2 rares and no exotics. That is EXACTLY what rng is about. 5 runs is way too few to do a statistical analysis on.
If you’re only getting about 10S worth of drops you’re probably salvaging everything that drops? From a bad run I got at least 10 greens worth close to 2 silver each and kittenloads of blues worth anything between half a silver and a silver. At some point I always need to pause and salvage everything worth less than a silver cause my 3 20-slot bags are stuffed beyond use.
Apart from that, I really believe one should mainly do fractals because it’s fun to do and gets more challenging at higher levels.
Because it can be fun to challenge yourself?
I have no idea how you’re making such little money in fractals. Even when I dont get rares make way more than my repair bill. I salvage every rare I can for ecto anway so I dont make money off of that. Plus I just find them fun. Sure I make more money doing quick dungeon runs but I like to challenge myself with higher fractal levels and the experience with friends or learning new techniques from pugs. Not to mention being able to gear my alts with rings and upgrading my back piece.
