Hello I played this game for few weeks and are there only 2 maps (cursed shore and southsun cove) where we can run with full power ?? Is a 1 year old game having only 2 maps for fully experienced players ??

Yes, and I think this is due to our awesome level scaling system which lets you enjoy the content of a level 70/60 map as if you were lv 70/60

Also Like its predecessor(GW1) end game is(or was) expected to be PvP WvWvW.

They really seem to encourage the idea that PvE stuff is for an alternate route to level to 80 then PvP.

this fact makes the ‘event mentor’ daily achievement VERY easy to do

There’s also Frostgorge Sound which is level 70-80.

Like Batdogi said they probably expected most people who had hit the level cap to be playing mainly in WvW and PvP. It’s also possible that they were/are planning to add more higher level maps later. They’ve admitted that players got through at least some parts of the content a lot faster than they expected (I know they were surprised at how soon people started making legendaries) so maybe they thought just a few zones would be enough and they could add more later.

Personally I have no problem playing mainly in lower level maps. Having all your traits, skills etc. unlocked and exotic gear still makes a difference, even if you’re down-levelled.

I am not sure how it looks on other servers (I play on NA tarnished coast) but here I got felling that every low lvl map is empty :O. I meet 2-3 people but to be honest I excepted to meet more, I don’t find it fun to play solo in mmorpg. Only maps that contain big bosses (shattered, shadow behemoth) got a few players that wait for boss to spawn. I think the most disappointing is wvw where I need to wait 30 min to join fight ;/ I was hopping that maybe I did miss some maps and friendly players will tell me “man you missed 6-10 maps” but well looks like I need to go to suggestion forum and spam then asking for new map

For PvE, Frostgorge Sound, Southsun Cove, Malchor’s Leap and Cursed Shore are the only open world lv 80 zones. Dungeon wise, it’s Honor of the Waves, Crucible of Eternity and Arah. WvW maps are also lv 80 , with upscaling in effect.
